There are many things in your Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus that you probably know about.
tip 1 Display
Tip 1: Optimize your Always On Display (AOD)
AOD is turned off by default when S9 ships are over. So go to settings, then lock screen and security and then clock and face widgets. Now choose Clock style. You can always choose different clock styles for display and even on your lock screen.
Select the design of the watch so select the colour you would like.
You can choose between solid color and some preset gradients. Choose and then choose Apply! If you are not happy with this, you can go to the theme store and go to the AOD section. There are free AOD styles and some paid tones – download and apply!
tip 2 dark view
Tip 2: Switch between normal and dark view
Go to Settings and enable Dark View, then Accessibility, then Direct Access and just turn it on for ‘Negative Colors’.
You can quickly change your display to dark mode by simply tapping the volume up button with the power button.

tip 3 customize by preference
Tip 3: Enable edge lighting and customize by preference and application
Open Settings, go to Display and then tap in the Edge panel. Enable edge lighting.
Tap on edge lighting to customize and set the lighting style by modifying the effect, color, transparency and width. There are 4 new effects to choose from, you can set any color of light you want and you can also modify the thickness of that effect. You can have multi-colored edges of different thicknesses and colors of your choice.
Apart from this, now you can customize Edge Lite, based on which app you get notifications from. So far 11 customized apps have been used and have given each of them their own unique color.

Tip 4: Change the task view from thumbnail to list view
Instead of seeing recent apps in the respective thumbnail view – you also see it in a list style format. Tap on the Recent Apps key, then click on the menu and then choose List View.

Tip 5: Enable pop-up views and multi-tasking views
The Galaxy S9 / S9 Plus supports both pop up view and multi window but is turned off by default. To turn on both these features head to setting, then advanced features and multi windows. When you are in an app, you can quickly activate another instance of an app by long-taping recent apps. Additionally, you can resize and see pop-up of compatible apps as they overlay on your screen.

Tip 6: Reorder camera mode according to preference
The Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus now have a more intuitive camera software, allowing you to easily switch between different modes. However, it allows you to manage and re-order the methods that you like best. If there is something you like or use, just turn it off or something you want right next to Auto Mode – then turn it back down or right above it. When you are pulling the camera using your hands, you can also enable a floating camera shutter button to help you take pictures easily.

Tip 7: Modify the house screen to indicate all apps and take away the app drawer
If you are not a fan of having a dedicated app drawer for all your apps and the iOS app prefers something like Drawer Style – then you can really go for yourself. Long tap on homescreen, tap in homescreen settings and then on home screen layout. Just click on the home screen and all your apps are going to come out as if you never had a separate app drawer – just like iOS style.

Swipe from anywhere on the homescreen to open the notification panel
Go to the homescreen settings and the active quick notifications panel settings. Now you have to go to the top edge of the screen to pull down the notification panel.
Security settings include a few more things like intelligent scans that are a combination of face and iris lock, a landscape-oriented home screen layout that allows you to see more and, if necessary, finger sensor gestures that allow you to use your notification panel Allows to turn on, being smart which ensures your phone’s display while you’re watching it and more here and there!
